Vegetarian Canton Noodles

Ingredients:

350 grams soaked canton noodles

Sauce:

  • 1/2 cup fried tofu, diced
  • 1/4 cup oil
  • 1/4 cup chopped onion
  • 1/4 cup chopped red bell pepper
  • 1/4 cup sliced button mushrooms
  • 1/4 teaspoon Italian seasoning
  • 1/2 cup tomato sauce
  • 1/4 teaspoon grated veggie cheese
  • Salt to taste


Procedure:

  1. Drain soaked canton noodles, transfer in a serving plate, set aside.
    Heat oil and saute onions, diced tofu, red bell pepper, button mushroom, Italian seasoning and tomato sauce.
  2. Mix well and simmer in medium heat for 2 minutes.
  3. Sprinkle salt for desired taste.
  4. Simmer for another minute.
  5. Pour over canton noodles.
    Top with grated veggie cheese
  6. Serve immediately
